Did you know that Wendy’s serves breakfast? Turns out, they currently offer breakfast in more than 300 restaurants, and folks who’ve had it says the food is pretty legit. But fear not, because Wendy’s just announced that they’re rolling out their breakfast menu nationwide in 2020.
That’s right people, the square-shaped burger chain will start serving breakfast at locations all across the country next year, and we can’t wait to sink our teeth into some of their signature items, including the Breakfast Baconator, Frosty-ccino, and Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.
Can we say yum? The Breakfast Baconator features an egg, Applewood smoked bacon, sausage, two kinds of cheese, and Hollandaise sauce, all between two buns. The Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit features a juicy, fried chicken breast, drenched in sweet honey butter, and stuffed in a buttermilk biscuit. And the Frosty-ccino features smooth, old-brewed coffee swirled with our legendary chocolate Frosty mix and served over ice.
“Launching breakfast in our U.S. restaurants provides incredible growth opportunities,” said Todd Penegor, President and CEO of The Wendy’s Company. “We are well-positioned to pursue it. We believe we have the right team and structure in place, and we put Wendy’s fan favorites on our breakfast menu to set us apart from the competition.”
I can’t wait for Wendy’s new breakfast menu to come to my area, as I can only eat so many Egg McMuffins and bagel sandwiches! 😋
